Here's the gear list for our Wellington Camp. A paper copy will be coming home tomorrow.

Quail Island Camp Info
Khan and I checked out the Bridle Path today - it's pretty steep on the way up! Bring lots of water and snacks to keep you going, then it's all downhill into Lyttleton for lunch.
Overview of the Camp
Monday - Wednesday 25 - 27th March
Please bring in tents, stoves and fish and chip orders.
We will practise putting up the tents and make sure that we have all the gear we need.
You will need to make sure that you have organised all the gear and food that your group will need for the camp.
Thursday 28th March (times approximate and may change if weather doesn't play ball!)
8.30am - arrive at school and meet with all gear in the Wharenui. Medications given to Mrs Jenkins. Trailer loaded with all camp gear. Students keep morning tea, lunch, water, hat, jersey etc in backpack. Wear good shoes!
9am - bus leaves for Heathcote. Trailer taken separately to Lyttleton ferry wharf.
10am - start Bridle Path walk - morning tea at the top.
11.30am - arrive Lyttleton - lunch and walk around Lyttleton with parent helpers
1.15pm - meet at Ferry Wharf to unload trailer and load up Blackcat - sailing at 2pm.
Arrive at Quail Island - unload Blackcat, walk to campsite and set up camp.
Once camp set up - exploring, swimming, fishing - student choice negotiated with parent helpers
Dinner approximately 6pm
Tents at 9pm
Lights out 10pm
Friday 29th March
Breakfast, take tents down, clear up camp site
Further exploring of Quail Island, other activities
Assemble gear at Ferry Wharf 12.45pm, Ferry departs Quail Island 1.20pm
Unload gear from Blackcat, reload trailer.
Fish and chips in Lyttleton then return to school.
